Currently residing in North Carolina, Nancy Henderson grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, attended Maryland Insttitute College of Art in Baltimore and graduated with a BFA in Fashion Illustration.

She started her professional carrer as a fashion illustrator for Hecht Co., follwed by 30 years working in Advertising Illustration and design in both Philadelphia, PA and Tampa, FL

In the 1980's, Nancy started creating a group of pen and ink drawings of Tampa's historic buidings. After several years she incorporated these sketches into a popular group of gift products, art prints and note cards.

Nancy is known in Tampa for her involvement in Ybor City Saturday Market and Tampa Historic Preservation, Inc.
